Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an Inbound Operations Manager for our Dayton, NJ, DC. You will lead daily distribution center operations, oversee labor scheduling, and manage third‑party partners to ensure cost efficiency and service excellence.

You will conduct safety trainings, enforce OSHA standards, and drive continuous improvement through metrics and performance reviews. The role requires strong organization and communication in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent with 3–5 years in furniture/final mile distribution or manufacturing leadership.
• In lieu of a degree, 6–8 years of progressive furniture/final mile distribution leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee labor scheduling, shift planning, and attendance tracking.
• Conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and audits to maintain OSHA compliance.
• Oversee daily DC operations, ensure cost control and performance metrics.
• Manage relationships with 3PLs, independent contractors, and employees.
• Drive performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure on‑time shipping, handling damages, and return/replacement improvements.
