Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a DC Operations Manager in New Jersey to drive operational excellence across inbound, warehouse, outbound and transportation functions in a large distribution center. You will lead multiple supervisors, optimize layouts, and ensure safety standards are consistently met.

You will partner with the GM/AGM to improve methods, staffing, and cost-to-serve while mentoring hourly associates and maintaining a productive, union-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience driving change and influencing at all levels.

Responsibilities

• 20% Ensures operational excellence in all warehouse areas and proper layout and maintenance.
• 20% Assists leadership with evaluating work methods and staffing for efficient product movement.
• 15% Works with leadership on cost-to-serve objectives and efficiency gains; may manage 3PL relationships.
• 15% Coaches and develops Associates and maintains a union-free, employee-centered environment.
• 15% Maintains safety culture following Home Depot policies; monitors safety and security metrics.
• 15% May collaborate with GM to manage outbound loads and carrier performance.
