Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a General Operations Manager for our South Brunswick, NJ distribution center. You will lead distribution and transportation operations, set daily production schedules, and drive improvements in productivity and inventory accuracy.

The role requires a track record of managing large teams in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer service and cost control. This on-site position offers strong growth opportunities within our Supply Chain organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related area.
• 6–8 years of management experience with increasing responsibility in distribution, logistics or manufacturing.
• Experience managing a large exempt workforce; proficient with MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Projects).
• Exceptional ability to deliver engaging, well-organized presentations to all levels.

• Provide leadership, management, and strategic direction for distribution and transportation operations.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and set daily production schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost control, service, and safety.
