Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. in Dayton, NJ is seeking an Outbound Manager to lead hourly associates in a fast-paced distribution center and ensure on-time shipments and high service levels.

You will plan daily labor, monitor KPIs, uphold health and safety standards, and manage operations to meet financial goals while collaborating across the supply chain. The role requires 3–5 years of distribution or manufacturing leadership, hands-on WMS experience, and strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3-5 years of relevant distribution or manufacturing management/leadership experience.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Ability to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Must be highly organized and process oriented; ability to complete multiple tasks consistently and on time.
• Warehouse Management System experience.
• Strong technical skills included but not limited to Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly associates to meet or exceed goals and monitor performance with coaching.
• Ensure on-time shipments, optimize people utilization and damages; provide periodic reports.
• Communicate policies to associates and act as primary information source for the team; ensure compliance and consistency.
• Direct and ensure top service for internal/external customers.
• Develop performance goals to ensure accuracy, quality and customer expectations.
• Maintain health and safety standards and promote a positive safety culture onsite.
• Direct and oversee job assignments and plan labor schedules daily/weekly/monthly.
• Achieve financial plans and budget objectives.
