Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role in York, PA serves as the first point of contact for technology support and solutions. You’ll learn and assess customer needs, assist with devices, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

You will also help customers at check-in and checkout, diagnose issues, advise on repairs or replacements, and maintain up-to-date tech knowledge through training.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening and taking notes.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replace.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
