Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions in our local store. You’ll receive training and work with other agents on more complex repairs to help customers with their devices.

You’ll provide positive, timely service, assess customer needs, and guide them through setup and decisions on repairs or replacements, while staying updated through ongoing training and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
