Job summary

Best Buy is looking for a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support and solutions for computers and devices in our store. You will be trained and equipped to assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

In this role you’ll help customers set up devices, provide guidance on repair or replacement decisions, and keep service queues moving with accurate status updates.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking detailed notes.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
