Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You will assess customers’ needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on complex repairs.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and estimating next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices or advise on repair vs. replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
