Job summary

Best Buy Reno is hiring a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You’ll receive training to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and work with other agents on complex repairs.

If family and friends come to you with tech questions, this role could be a great fit. You’ll assist customers during check-in and checkout, diagnose tech issues through questions, and help set up devices while advising on repair or replacement options.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to help customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
