Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store in Indiana. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

If family and friends bring tech questions, this role could be a perfect fit. You’ll provide friendly, timely service during check-in and checkout, explain issues clearly, and help customers decide whether to repair or replace devices.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking detailed notes.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
