Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role at our Saint Louis store invites you to be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support, sharing knowledge and solutions for laptops, phones and other devices. You’ll assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with teammates on more complex repairs to keep customers moving forward.

You’ll provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout, explain options, set up new devices and help customers decide whether to repair

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
