Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers seeking technology support. You’ll help assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

The role welcomes training to build knowledge and grow with the team. The position emphasizes friendly, efficient service at the store, with opportunities to assist customers in setting up devices and deciding whether to repair or replace.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on repair vs replace decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
