Job summary

Best Buy in Highland, IN is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support in-store. You will assess customer needs, provide basic services, and collaborate with other agents on repairs. A passion for technology and strong communication are valued.

You’ll help customers decide between repair and replacement, set up devices, and keep service queues moving, with ongoing training to stay current on products and services.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and giving accurate time estimates.
• Assist customers with setting up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through training courses and collaborate with fellow agents.
