Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our Benton Harbor store. You’ll assess needs, explain options, and help with setup while coordinating with fellow agents.

The role emphasizes friendly service, problem solving, and basic repair tasks with a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends; prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
