Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our Flowood, MS store. You’ll assess customers’ needs, perform basic services and collaborate with teammates to tackle more complex repairs.

You’ll help customers set up devices, provide guidance on repair vs replacement, and keep service queues updated while maintaining current training through official courses. Flexible scheduling including holidays, nights, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow-up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends
