Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our Cullowhee store. You will assess needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents for more complex repairs.

You’ll receive training, help customers set up devices, decide between repair or replacement, monitor queues, and stay updated with skills through ongoing courses. Flexible hours, competitive pay and employee discounts are available.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and giving time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
