Best Buy is hiring a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support in our local store. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

If friends and family come to you with tech questions, this role could be a great fit. You’ll assist customers during check-in, explain tech issues, help set up devices, and provide accurate next-step estimates.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking notes.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs. replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with fellow agents.
