Job summary

Best Buy and its Geek Squad team are seeking an agent to serve as the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents for more complex repairs.

You will help customers with setup, provide repair or replacement recommendations, and keep service queues moving with clear status updates. Training is provided to maintain knowledge and skills for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience required.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
• Flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
