Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support and guidance at our Woodland Hills store. You will be trained to assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on complex repairs.

If friends and family bring tech questions, this role could be a great fit. You’ll provide timely service during check-in/out, diagnose issues by asking questions, help set up devices, and keep customers informed on next steps.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, asking follow‑up questions, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
