Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support in our Rockaway, NJ store. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Responsibilities include guiding customers through setup, answering questions, and providing accurate time estimates while maintaining up-to-date knowledge through training. A flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Excellent communication and listening skills are important.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement decisions.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses and collaborate with other agents.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
• Support a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.
