Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our Nyack store. You will assess needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Training and resources are provided to help you succeed. Responsibilities include assisting customers during check-in and checkout, diagnosing issues, guiding device setup, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge through training.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking detailed notes.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
• Support colleagues to resolve customer issues as part of a team.
