Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent in Michigan to be the first point of contact for technology support and solutions. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents on complex repairs, while building knowledge through ongoing training.

You’ll provide friendly, timely service during check-in and checkout, explain technical issues, set up devices, and offer repair vs. replacement guidance. A flexible schedule including holidays and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and taking detailed notes
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents
