Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services, and collaborate with other agents for more complex repairs.

Gain training and resources to help customers decide whether to repair or replace devices, with a focus on delivering friendly, knowledgeable service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
