Job summary

Best Buy is hiring a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our local store. You’ll assess customers’ needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents for more complex repairs, keeping the customer informed along the way.

Training and resources will be provided so you can help customers decide whether to repair or replace devices, while maintaining knowledge through ongoing courses. A flexible schedule includes holidays, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.
• Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast-paced industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions and providing time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise whether to repair or replace.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
