Job summary

Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role is the first point of contact for technology support in our Chico store. You’ll assess customer needs, provide basic services, and coordinate with other agents on more complex repairs. If friends and family come to you with tech questions, this could be your ideal role.

You’ll deliver friendly, timely service, gather necessary information, and offer guidance on repairs or replacements while maintaining up-to-date product knowledge and collaborating with teammates.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and providing time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly with fellow agents.
