Job summary

Best Buy's Geek Squad Agent role is the first point of contact for technology support at the local store. You’ll assess customer needs, perform basic services and team with other agents on more complex repairs.

Three months of retail or customer service experience and a flexible schedule are required. A passion for technology and the ability to learn quickly are essential to help customers decide on repairs or replacements.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening and taking notes.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
