Job summary

Best Buy in Lexington, South Carolina is seeking a Geek Squad Agent to be the first contact for customers seeking technology support at our store. We’ll provide the training and resources you need to assess customers’ needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents as needed on more complex repairs.

You will assess needs, perform basic services, guide customers on device setup and help decide whether to repair or replace.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Identify and understand technology issues by asking questions and taking notes.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement options.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge through training and certifications and collaborate with other agents.
