Best Buy’s Geek Squad Agent role offers hands-on technology support at our local store. You’ll be the first contact, assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Willingness to learn technology and how to troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, follow-ups and noting time estimates.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair or replacement decisions.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skills through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
