Best Buy in Morgantown, WV seeks a Geek Squad Agent to be the first contact for technology support, offering knowledge and solutions for computers and devices. Training and resources are provided to assess needs, perform basic services, and partner with other agents on complex repairs.

You’ll assist customers, set up devices, and advise on repair or replacement, while staying current with knowledge and certifications and coordinating with teammates.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Passion for technology and desire to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during check-in and checkout.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, and estimating next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replace.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses.
• Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents.
