Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a motivated Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for technology support at our store in Slidell, LA. You will assess customer needs, perform basic services, and partner with other agents on more complex repairs, ensuring friendly, efficient service.

Training is provided to continually upgrade your tech knowledge. This role requires at least 3 months of retail or customer service experience and the ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience in retail or customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during checkout and check-in.
• Understand issues by asking questions and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and advise on repair vs replacement.
• Monitor service queues and provide status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge through certified training courses and collaborate with fellow agents.
