Job summary

Best Buy seeks a Geek Squad Agent to be the first point of contact for customers needing technology support at our Davie, FL store. You will assess needs, perform basic services and collaborate with other agents on more complex repairs.

In this role you’ll help customers set up devices, advise on repair or replacement, and keep queues moving with clear status updates. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, and flexibility to work holidays, nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check-in and checkout process.
• Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, taking detailed notes and providing accurate time estimates for next steps.
• Help customers set up new devices and provide advice on whether to repair or replace old devices.
• Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers.
• Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses.
• Clearly communicate and partner with fellow agents.
