Best Buy’s Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent) at the Lynchburg store delivers technology support and repairs for customers’ devices, listening to needs and working with fellow Agents to resolve issues.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, repairs, and clear documentation while maintaining high service quality. This role requires a passion for technology, strong communication, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products.
• Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic discoveries, make recommendations, repair devices and help customers both in-person and over the phone.
• Establish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow-up and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
• Partner with other team members to maintain consistent and accurate documentation of customer requests and repairs.
• Ensure all repair tasks are completed in a timely manner and partner with leaders when issues arise.
• Maintain knowledge, skillsets and certifications through training courses.
