Job summary

Best Buy is seeking a Geek Squad Advanced Repair Technician (Agent) at our local store to provide technology support and repair devices. You’ll listen to customers, diagnose issues and repair computers and other devices, partnering with other Geek Squad Agents to deliver great service.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, clear documentation, and continuing education through training. The team values dependable scheduling, including nights and weekends, to meet customer needs and keep

Qualifications

6 months of experience diagnosing, troubleshooting or repairing technology products
Experience actively using and learning about consumer electronics
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic discoveries, make recommendations, repair devices and help customers in-person and over the phone
Establish and maintain consistent rhythms for timely follow-up and ensure expectations are met or exceeded
Partner with team members to document customer requests and repairs
Ensure repair tasks are completed in a timely manner and coordinate with leaders when issues arise
Maintain knowledge, skills and certifications through training courses
