Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Customer Sales Associate for our Trane Supply locations. You will be the trusted advisor to customers, resolving parts or equipment issues and delivering high‑quality parts and solutions promptly.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, inside sales or related experience, and a strong focus on customer service in a fast-paced setting. You will work both on the phone and in person, driving sales while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED.
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer focused environment with a focus on customer service, continuous improvement, and safety.
• Proven experience in building customer relationships and maintaining professional customer service even in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers and find the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Partners with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions or complaints regarding Parts and Supply offerings and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Keep current on knowledge of Trane Products, offerings, and promotions in order to provide a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers both on the phone and in person.
• Executes quote and order management processes with high level of accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process and ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery – entering quotes and invoices and follow through on fulfillment.
• Assists with warehouse/inventory management work as needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
