Job summary

Trane Technologies in Indianapolis is seeking a Customer Sales Associate to be the trusted advisor for customers visiting Trane Supply stores, resolving parts issues and delivering high-quality parts and solutions.

You will need product knowledge, hit sales targets, manage orders with accuracy, and provide excellent in-person and phone support. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401K match, and education programs.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in inside sales, retail, or related fields.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments.
• Experience building customer relationships and handling challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers and determine the best method to resolve problems for customer satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries or complaints regarding Parts and Supply offerings and provide solutions for future sales.
• Maintain knowledge of Trane products, offerings, and promotions to deliver a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers both on the phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management with high accuracy to expedite fulfillment and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse/inventory management as needed.
• Be flexible to work overtime/weekends as required.
