Job summary

Trane Technologies in New York is seeking a Customer Sales Associate for our Trane Supply stores. You will be the trusted advisor helping customers with parts and equipment, delivering high-quality solutions, and contributing to sales goals.

You will handle order management, learn our product offerings, and provide in-person and phone support to ensure a premier customer experience. Health benefits, 401(k) matching, and paid time off are included.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Inside sales, retail, or related experience.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and maintain professional service.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customers and resolve problems to ensure satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to grow sales by identifying related products or add-on extensions.
• Process customer orders and respond to inquiries, questions or complaints regarding Parts and Supply offerings and offer solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and future sales.
• Keep current on knowledge of Trane Products, offerings, and promotions to provide a premier customer experience and drive sales.
• Interact with customers both on the phone and in person.
• Execute quote and order management processes with high accuracy to expedite fulfillment and ensure satisfaction and timely delivery.
• Assist with warehouse/inventory management work as needed.
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
