Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Specialist in Wilson, NC to greet customers, identify needs, and help translate project ideas into real solutions. You will become a product expert, explaining features, promotions, and financing options to close sales on the floor or at the service desk.

You will work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, and more, providing friendly, knowledgeable service, meeting sales goals, and supporting customers throughout their shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer-facing sales or Lowe's retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling quotes, orders, and follow-ups.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to maintain stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation per policy.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
