Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand their home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products.

You will become a product expert, explain specifications and promotions, and help close sales while delivering excellent service in-store. You may work across departments such as Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, or Tools, and will engage customers, handle orders, and coordinate with vendors to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales / 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating product advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department and manage orders/installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory and work with vendors to reorder stock.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates in the department on the sales floor.
