Job summary

Lowe's Stores is seeking a Sales Specialist to assist customers, answer questions, and help transform project ideas into reality in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will become the product expert across departments, guiding customers through specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales. The role emphasizes service, teamwork, and a flexible schedule to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales / 18 months Lowe’s if education not met).
• 1 year sales or customer service in a sales environment with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Lift 25 lbs unassisted; or 25+ lbs with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Act as point of contact for customers and vendors within your department; estimate projects, schedule installers, and track orders.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors/stores to restock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and assist customers as needed.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
