Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee leasing, compliance, and revenue while delivering a quality living experience for residents. COS and LIHTC certifications are preferred; in-office work five days a week is required.

Responsibilities include overseeing operations, budgeting, and reporting, plus supervising staff and maintaining strong tenant relations to achieve a 97% occupancy goal.

Qualifications

• College degree or 3+ years in Residential Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail Management.
• 2+ years of experience in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail.
• COS and LIHTC certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of federal housing laws and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily site operations and communicate with the Community Manager and staff.
• Monitor leasing, retention and re-certifications to meet occupancy goals.
• Prepare re-certifications, leasing apps, verifications and reports.
• Screen applicants to ensure compliance with Tenant Selection Plan and rules.
• Maintain accurate resident ledgers and post rents in system.
• Handle resident issues and support management in budgeting and compliance.
