The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee leasing, compliance and resident services in a busy property management setting.

The role emphasizes operations, occupancy goals, and strong customer service to deliver a top-tier living experience for residents. Under the Community Manager, you will manage leasing, re-certifications, and payments, while ensuring regulatory compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in residential property management or related field.
• COS/LIHTC/ARM certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory programs and Federal Housing Laws.]

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site operations and maintain communication with Community Manager and other staff.
• Monitor leasing, retention and re-certifications to meet 97% occupancy.
• Prepare re-certifications, leasing applications, verifications and occupancy reports.
• Screen applicants to ensure compliance with Tenant Selection Plan and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain competitive market analysis quarterly.
• Enter and code invoices, post rents and maintain resident ledgers.
• Monitor rent balances and issue notices as required.
• Participate in budgeting, risk management, and property management tasks.
• Oversee office operations and inspect property for issues.
• Provide resident support and coordinate with Community Manager as needed.
• Assist in recruitment, training and performance reviews.
