Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, compliance, and resident services across multiple properties. This role emphasizes operational administration to maximize occupancy and rental income while maintaining a high level of service.

Certifications (COS, LIHTC) are preferred. The position requires five days a week in office and close collaboration with the Community Manager and maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• College degree or 3+ years in Residential Property Management.
• 2+ years of experience in Property Management.
• COS/LIHTC/ARM designation preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal Housing Laws and Guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily site operations and communicates with the Community Manager.
• Monitors leasing, retention and re-certifications to meet occupancy goals.
• Prepares re-certifications, leasing applications, verifications and reports.
• Screens applicants to ensure compliance with Tenant Selection Plan and regulations.
• Updates market analyses quarterly and maintains resident ledgers.
