Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support leasing, compliance and customer service at a Minnesota property. The role focuses on operations, certifications, and maximizing rental income while ensuring a high-quality living experience.

Requires a college degree or 3+ years in property management or related fields, plus 2+ years in the industry. COS/LIHTC/ARM designations are preferred; strong MS Word/Excel/Outlook and Yardi skills are expected.

Qualifications

• College degree or 3+ years in Residential Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail Management.
• 2+ years of experience in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail.
• COS, LIHTC, ARM or other industry designations preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory programs, policies and Federal Housing Laws.

Responsibilities

• Assists with daily site operations and communicates with the Community Manager and staff.
• Monitors leasing, retention and re-certifications to meet occupancy goals.
• Prepares re-certifications, leasing applications, verifications and reports.
• Screens applicants to ensure compliance with Tenant Selection Plan and regulations.
• Keeps informed of market conditions and updates market analysis quarterly.
• Enters invoices, posts rents, deposits and maintains resident ledgers.
