Job summary

Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to campus stakeholders, including the legal and regulatory team, faculty, and staff. This fully remote role focuses on contracts, privacy, IT security, and regulatory compliance, with limited travel.

The attorney will draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements, provide guidance on Title IX and ADA compliance, and support international and data privacy matters across university programs.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
• Admitted and in good standing in at least one state bar; Connecticut house counsel status required.
• At least two years of legal practice experience.
• Interest in higher education compliance and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise, and negotiate vendor, technology, data privacy, and IP agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance, Title IX, ADA, FERPA, GDPR, GLBA, and related matters.
• Support international compliance for international student populations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare educational resources for university stakeholders.
• Collaborate across the legal and compliance teams university-wide.
