Job summary

Post University is seeking a Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to institutional stakeholders, focusing on contracts, Title IX and ADA compliance, privacy, technology, and IP. The role heavily involves drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating contracts and policies in support of online and in-person programs in alignment with University operations.

This fully remote position requires a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, bar admission, and at least two years of

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate from an accredited US law school.
Bar admission in at least one state and good standing ( Connecticut house counsel status may be required).
Minimum of two years of legal practice.
Experience in higher education is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, revise, and negotiate vendor, technology, and data privacy agreements.
Provide legal advice on compliance, privacy, and regulatory matters.
Assist with international compliance for international student population.
Support IP matters as needed and perform legal research.
Collaborate with university stakeholders across departments.
Stay updated on evolving laws affecting university operations.
