Post University is seeking an in-house Compliance & Contracts Attorney to serve as a legal advisor to institutional stakeholders, including the legal & regulatory team, faculty, and staff. The role focuses on contracts, Title IX and ADA, IP, privacy, and regulatory compliance, with extensive drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of documents for on-campus and online programs.

This is a remote position with minimal travel (<5%).

Formación

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited US law school.
• Must be admitted in good standing to at least one state bar; Connecticut house counsel status required.
• At least two years of legal practice experience.
• Experience in higher education is welcome but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review, and negotiate vendor, tech, IP, and data-privacy agreements.
• Advise on compliance and ethical operations across campus units.
• Support international student compliance and cross-border matters.
• Assist with privacy, GLBA, GDPR, FERPA, and related regulatory issues.
• Perform legal research and prepare internal training materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the university on legal matters.
