Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant in California to generate leads and present solar solutions door-to-door. You will build relationships with homeowners, qualify needs, and drive the sales process from initial contact to installation.

The role requires in-person field work, travel within the local market, and flexibility for evenings/weekends. Competitive commissions and benefits accompany a base salary with bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales/lead generation experience; in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and assess customer needs.
• Disposition and report outcomes via CRM; manage pipeline to install.
• Meet minimum sales targets as set by leadership.
• Travel locally as needed and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
