Job summary

Sunrun Inc. in California is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to generate self-sourced sales leads and present in-home solar products and services. You will build genuine relationships with potential customers and qualify solar as a viable energy solution for homes and families.

You will travel within the local market, conduct in-home presentations, and work flexible hours to fit homeowners' schedules while driving strong sales results and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales/lead generation experience; in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+, valid driver's license, clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork to address customer needs.
• Willingness to travel within local market as required.
• Flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and evaluate customers’ needs, building productive long lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our CRM tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
