Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Field Sales Consultant to self-generate leads and conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers in California. You will build genuine connections, qualify solar as a viable energy solution, and drive the sales process from initial contact to installation.

The role requires in-home interactions, travel within the local market, and occasional evenings/weekends. Competitive commissions, benefits, and ongoing training accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience; in-home sales experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Develop effective self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments with potential customers.
• Provide an industry leading customer sales experience from initial contact through installation and after the customer’s system is turned on.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations for potential customers and evaluate customers’ knowledge and needs, building productive long lasting relationships.
• Handle the pipeline of activity from prospect to install by following up with all leads and in-home consultations.
• Accurately disposition and report on outcomes via our CRM tool.
• Meet minimum required sales targets as set by sales leadership.
