Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Sales Consultant in California to generate and present solar solutions in customers’ homes. You will build relationships, qualify needs, and guide prospects from initial contact through installation.

The role requires in-home presentations, travel within the local market, and a flexible schedule. Competitive commissions and benefits accompany a base salary with incentive programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales and/or lead generation experience, in-home sales preferred.
• Must be 21+ with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel within local market; flexible hours including evenings/weekends.
• Comfort with technology, iPad/computer and multiple software applications (CRM a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop self-generated sales strategies, leads and appointments.
• Provide an industry-leading customer sales experience from contact to installation.
• Conduct in-home sales presentations and assess customers’ needs.
• Manage activity pipeline from prospect to install; follow up on leads and consultations.
• Accurately report outcomes via CRM tool.
• Meet or exceed sales targets set by leadership.
